Clamour Creative Inc. is the company through which digital content specialist Allen Zuk has been providing creative, technical, instructional and consulting services for the past eight years, but his career spans over 20 years, beginning in newspaper production and eventually moving through production management, web and multimedia development, writing, technical editing and ebook production.

While Clamour provides services to a wide range of clients and industries, for the past ten years Allen has primarily served the Canadian book publishing industry. He was responsible for the first book trailers produced in Canada in 2005 via what turned out to be the beginning of HarperCollins Canada’s digital program.

During the summers, Allen teaches the New Technologies course and the Advanced Technology specialization in the Humber College Creative Book Publishing Program. He has been developing the curricula for these courses over the past eight years, and he is a member of the program’s Advisory Board.

Allen was an Advisory Board Member from 2008–2009 for the Gutenberg 2.0 professional development program offered by The Organization of Book Publishers of Ontario (OBPO) and The Association of Canadian Publishers (ACP).

He donates time and services to the creative and cultural industries, including Louise Bak’s seasonal Box Salon, a multidisciplinary arts event based in Toronto.
